Why oh why is it, when anyone says anything bad about UPDX, that the club's honks always deflect to Westside?

Plenty of other clubs in town have good reasons to dislike UPDX.

Even in times like this, small brained boys hoping for the demise of other organizations.

Not what the sport needs right now.

Not a United or Westside parent but off the top of my head I think one of the Westside coaches throwing shade on social media at UPDX during state cup last year probably leads to accusations like the above post. Some coaches obviously spend too much time hanging around teenage girls and enjoy stirring the pot and creating drama.

I don't think anyone likes UPDX or how Brandon has become Portland's new Tom Atencio.

Westside has a long trackrecord of creating rumors about other clubs right before a new season starts. They have done this to THUSC and FCPortland many times in the past.

Most of the nasty posts about individuals, teams and clubs come from coward coaches. This is not just Westside, but they are major contributors to the nastiness on TS.

Lemme get this straight. You're throwing shade on social media, complaining about other teams throwing shade on social media... and then you top it off with a suggestion (one that is so ambiguously worded that it can be denied if someone presses you on it) that a rival club's youth club's coaches just might be engaging in inappropriate behavior with young girls?

I'm quite sure, like all businesses and particularly non-profits, all clubs are financially hurting right now. This is just a hit job that is really poor taste and class in these times. Everyone is struggling and we should all support each other.

Nope, my suggestion is that the bad habits of teenage girls (gossiping on social media, throwing shade, and generally behaving in an immature manner) have rubbed off on a coach who has spent years coaching that age group. And this chat board is not "social media," it's a chat board. And I'm not with UPDX, as I said earlier. But sure, I'll own that I also threw shade on this chat board. Feel better?
