Any club that has to use a yelp like rating online to bolster its low morale is really failing. Why don’t you worry about us, your CFC clan and give us more value for our dollar? Like real practices where you do more than tweet sit on your asses and be on your phones or laugh at your players. We parents have seen it all and our girls hear everything you say to each other. You built a huge complex drive fancy cars yet we are still treading water. Stop the nonsense and get down to business. We have a whole season ahead of us and all you care about is being ranked #61 on soccer wire - an online yelp for soccer clubs. As customers we could give two F... about this. We want our kids to be coached and helped.

Wow!! I am signing up now!!! Where do I send my check for 3700? Also I know there will be 25 kids on a team with only two practices a week and also I will need to shell out another 10 k or so for travel and hope my kid gets playing time. I will
Be sure to tell my neighbors friends and family to sign up!! Everyone is talking about it and colleges in line to recruit my kid, thank you CFC$$$!

Just go stand on the sidelines at CFCU. No thanks you can have it. Life is too short to spend my kid's teen years there

You hit it right on the head.

              1) Coaches have become complacent.
              2) They are tired, jaded and lazy....and they do not care about developing each and every player that is paying the hefty tuition.
              3) CFC is not a coaching priority for most all of them, and it shows.
              4) In their minds, you are F'in lucky to be on the team.
              5) It is a business, and they view each kid as $$$$.
              6) No true Director of Coaching, no style of play, no leadership.

It is simply a poorly run club.

EXACTLY. Drive your fancy cars and look at your phones during open play while the girls are laying it on the line out there to get noticed. They make a great play and look over and Coach X has his face grilled to his I Phone or laughing at bad jokes with Coach Y. FILM games, go over the video, have someone chart the games , the shots on goal, the assists, the keeper shots on goals and saves, Watch other coaches teams play. Shake it up. Whatever. Cause its not working. For the money these parents shell out take it more seriously. As seriously as the girls that play for you and give it all. Maybe the coaches should be evaluated as much as the players? From this pre season things look like there gonna be worse than last year. And THATS NOT ACCEPTABLE> Not for $4000 a year. Still laughing?

LOL. Every single of one of those ranking criteria is from available stats that can be gathered remotely. Does not require soccer wire to have ANY direst contact with ANY of the clubs on the list. My player could have constructed that list.

And what do some of those stats even mean? for example...."regularly placing players in the U.S. National Team talent pool". I can think of many players that arrange a deal - move to the new club and get the call up...especially in the new era of all call ups go to GDA players....so which of the two or more clubs involved with these players get the credit from soccer wire?

Actually watching the girls play would be a good start. And not being afraid to make personal changes to teams where some girls obviously don't give a damn anymore would be another. Otherwise its going to be another embarrassing season. Get off your asses and coach and teach and earn your money. When you make a team it doesnt mean you have a lifetime appointment.

If a team posts a terrible record why is that coach back the next year? If girls can be shipped down why isn't the coach? You don't produce you don't stay. Very simple.

When the leadership doesn't care, the players see and feel it.....things fall apart quickly. This happens in all organizations.

I've heard this stated as fact many times. Is OW really head and shoulders above all other boys programs? I've seen ulittles and they are not that good. A couple of stand outs but a lot of filler too. Can FSA and CFC boys make a case that they're on par with OW boys? Does that become a clear divide at u13 or u14?

Which clubs in CT are properly run and why, in your opinion?

People obviously say things on here all the time, reality is that most statements on here are speculation and opinion vs. fact.

BS ahead of OW in standings at 2 of the older age groups, granted the season is young.
