we all know the rules around whether or not high school coaches can coach their players in the off season. I think it's ok up to 6 players? what is everyone's position on that rule? Good? Bad? Who cares?

Everyone is working with their HS players in the off-season. To pretend it doesn't happen or that coaches play by the rules is a joke. The real question is, which coach do you have a beef with and are looking to get rid of?

I don't think it doesn't happen all that often. A lot of typical HS players aren't even playing club off season. Premier teams, especially higher level like ECNL, will get players from all over. As for the rule itself? I like it. I can totally see some coaches pressuring kids to play for their club teams, and it isn't fair if a HS coach gets to train 10 of his players all year longOriginally posted by Unregistered View PostComment
