Majority of daughters team will be playing high school this fall with only 3 trapped players not being enough to field a team daughter won’t have a team for fall. Does it make sense to play DA since they don’t play high school?

If it's a quality team you're happy with and think you want to stay with for the long haul, don't move her because of a few months. Talk with the club about what the options are to train with a younger team - but make sure they can actually play games too in league ABC. If she's in a B team and the A tram is DA maybe she can train with them. She can also train on her own or the trapped group could split the cost of hiring a private trainer for some of the time. Leep I'm mind her HS teammates will return in November very fit

This fall will be the 5th occurrence of this situation.
Yes it stinks, no shortage of threads on that, but she is not unique nor victimized.
This is not a year on the bench, its just a couple months. She will not fall behind.
I encourage you to look at it as an opportunity to do something she's wanted to do.
Maybe arts, like the school play or dance. If she must have soccer then it's a great time for skills training. Also, ask your club, they've been through this before.
As for DA, it might be a great fit, but you need to look at it as a long-term direction for her. It's not a temporary place to play 2.5 months.

DA doesn't make sense here, why would you sit her from her HS season when she could be learning how to be a leader and challenging herself vs older competition? DA is great for those in the top 1-2%, other than that go play ECNL (arguably better than DA) and let your daughter experience HS sports with her friends.

Would the club they left just take them back in spring?
Would player want a 3rd club within a year?
I don't think that's a common occurrence, but saw it happen with 2 (3?) players.

They move to DA as 8th graders in fall (motivated by trapped situation?)
Who would expect to go back in Spring?
so she made the decision for year, and was open to DA.
Thus she either had doubts about HS or was going to prep school as waiver eligible
