    Enough Tournaments

This is proof that there are way to many tournaments.

If you are in a league you don't need that many games where you have to compete in 2-3 tournaments a season. We need to have a better practice to game ratio. There are MUCH more touches in practice than in a game. Typical Tournaments have 4 matches. With a 3-1 ratio that means there should be 12 practices needed to balance that out. I'm pretty sure most teams are not close to that.

Again all designed to take your money the florida way. Simply your kids should be playing no more than 30 games a year. Again just another example of the florida soccer scene having no clue about child development.

In April GA only has 1 State sanctioned tournament,. FYSA has 9.

That would imply that players may play one game a day for 30 consecutive days as long as they are off the rest of the year. Is that correct?

Are all practices created the same in that regard?

Look up recovery time. Another thing that kills our players in tournaments

You don’t see a college team play three games in almost a day and a half for a reason.

High level showcases don't either. Every other tournament is a fundraiser that over taxes the athlete. Most coaches don't care and overplay their teams all the time. I know one coach who had 2 league games and a State Cup match all in the same day. IDIOT!!

So, with the addition of a 25 game High School schedule, the club teams should only be playing 5 games.

High school is killing our players. No recovery time which leads to a lot of injuries at the end of the season.

Aren't most of the GA ECNL teams above the Jax teams?

Our son's high school coach thinks he is giving players more chances to learn by playing 4 games in a week. Then wonders why half the team is hurt for play offs.
