Public abuse of his oath of office

So our Trump loving friends went a little silent as yesterday wore on. Wonder how they feel about Trump violating his oath of office on camera instead of reserving it to phone calls hidden on a classified server. A little sheepish these days or still perfectly fine with insane anti-American behavior?

I read an interesting article on TRUMP today. From the article, this about sums up him and his minion followers:

His standards are low; his ethics non-existent. And yet he is praised by millions. This says as much about him as it does about us.

The whole country is learning some very hard lessons regardless of political ideology. Hopefully we can survive the educational process.

          This is definitely true.

With Trump as the president, a lot of flaws in our political system have been exposed. We still have more freedoms than any country but chinks in the armor are visible. With his constant disregard and violation of the Constitution and other nefarious acts, Trump is more than likely the worst president ever in history. Despite this, he has made things very interesting - unfortunately to the detriment of this country.

We survived 8 years of Obama trying to destroy America. I'm pretty sure we can survive a phone call that was not criminal in anyway. What we can't survive is the Dems constantly dividing this country.

I'm sure you frauds were having the same discussions somewhere when Bill Clinton was getting hummers ( not to mention putting cigars in her ******) from an intern under the oval office desk. And I'm sure you have a perfectly reasonable explanation as to why Biden's crack addict son was worth $50,000 a month to a Ukrainian gas company. What we are hearing now is simply the death wails as the left realizes that the charade is up and a sheriff is in town who knows that government, and especially not a corrupt government, is not what the USA is built on. We are built on freedom from government and individual liberty.

I read a story yesterday about a 16 year old girl who was experiencing pain in her arm. When her mother took her to the doctor, it turned out the pain was a result of birth control implanted in the girls arm by a school nurse. Without any knowledge or consent from the girls mother. Trump is far from a perfect man, but his voters recognize that he has the common sense to know how perverse what happened to the girl was. While you and the rest of the left who essentially want the government to do everything from raising our kids to wiping our butts, would lecture the mother that she doesn't know what's best for her own child. You are sick, twisted people. And again, Trump is far from a perfect man. But since I know he will will at least fight to protect us and our future from you sick monsters, I will crawl over broken glass to vote for him.

                Trump 2020. Keep America Great.

Pretty funny that all of a sudden the Democrats care about America and the Constitution. Those horrible economic numbers we have been seeing for the last 2 1/2 years have been very detrimental to our Country. Don't you ever get sick of being wrong all the time?

This is what Democrats turn people into by brainwashing them. Then blame the Republicans who are pro-life and know the whole climate thing is a scam.

Goodness, even a Fox News analyst has reported Trump violating the Constitution.

                          https://www.newsweek.com/trump-viola...-times-1427253

Have you missed all the lawsuit challenges he's facing, some of which he's already lost? Where have you been?

Cities across the country, from San Francisco to Philadelphia, have sued arguing the Executive order that withholds federal money from what it called “sanctuary jurisdictions,”violates federalism principles. In November 2017, a federal judge ruled in Philadelphia’s favor.

Article 1 of the US Constitution bans holders of public office from receiving financial benefits from foreign governments. Qatari state airline and the state-owned Bank of China currently rent office space in Trump Tower. Government-owned media organizations of 24 different countries currently pay Trump licensing fees. Embassies in Kuwait and Bahrain have also paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to host events at Trump-owned hotels. All of these are considered financial benefits that Trump is not supposed to receive.

Article 1, Section 9 of the US Constitution states holders of public office cannot “without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, emolument, office, or title, of any kind whatever, from any king, prince, or foreign state”. That means the $16million in government and taxpayer dollars that have been spent at Trump-owned properties since his election are a violation of the Emoluments Clause..

There are still lawsuits pending related to the immigration "Muslim" ban that contains plenty of evidence it violates the Establishment clause.

A judge ruled Trump blocking followers on Twitter constituted a violation of the First Amendment.

The Constitution limits the president’s ability to interfere with individual law enforcement matters. That has not stopped Trump from attempting to stop federal investigations of him and his associates; a clear violation of the Fifth Amendment, which requires that the law be applied evenhandedly and not used to punish disfavored individuals or groups.

Defying congressional oversight could very well be considered a constitutional violation.

Since you're such a fan of whataboutism, do please list Obama's constitutional violations and exactly how he was attempting to dismantle America. We'll wait.

Please enumerate the ways Obama tried to destroy America.

Whether there were crimes committed with respect to the phone call remains to be seen, though it's highly likely given the abuse of the classification system to hide the call on the code word level server.

Impeachable offenses do not have to be statutory crimes, but as obstruction of justice is a crime I think we'll certainly see crimes included in the articles of impeachment should they be drafted.

The phone call in and of itself demonstrates an abuse of power. It's debatable whether or not the contents of that one phone call rise to the level of impeachable though. If it were a one off call of that nature, possibly not. It's the attempt to hide the content of the unorthodox call and the way it confirms a broader pattern of behavior that render an impeachment inquiry appropriate.

We'll all just have to wait and see how this plays out.

Interesting choice of articles to claim Democrats brainwash people. I don't think you read it in its entirety. Or if you did, you certainly didn't understand it.

Republicans are not pro-life. If they were, they would support public policies that improve the lives of people once they are born and would oppose the death penalty. Republicans are pro-forced birth and anti-choice. That is certainly their prerogative if they want to include such policies in their platform. But they can't use the label "pro-life" without irony.

No, they don't know the whole climate thing is a scam. They are hoping you will believe it so they can keep accepting money from the fossil fuel industry. Feel free to keep your head in the sand over climate change while the planet roasts your ***** sticking in the air.
