If Inter chose the best players, why are they losing?

The U17 squad did not impress against Weston last week. If anything Westons team looked more in sync. The midfield battle was clearly won by the underdog. The defense and wingers were also strong.
Not putting Inter down in anyway. They will gel better with time. Talent they have.

They didn't choose the best players. They chose the ones with contacts, friends and for politics. They also choosed the little dribble kings that impress in tryouts but suck in team play.
Inter is a failed experiment already. cut those kids and picks some new ones.

It’s going to be hard to watch players are playing positions they never played before . The players are struggling and are losing there drive to play. It’s great to see there is not much drop off in subs . The issue boils down to playing time and getting the players to play as a team.

Iron will sharpen iron. There are many great players still out there on other teams so either kids step up or they will get dropped at end of the year. I have seen real good players struggle at Inter. Some of it is the demand, some is the pressure and some is the competition. I do not see Inter performing to their potential right away. In fact it may not be until next year with changes on teams. This a professional academy and all others will be working to knock them off at every age group. It will be interesting to see once the coaches find their starters and limit the play of others if the potential is met early on. Looking forward to some great games and competition this season.

Wow there are some really impatient SOBs on this anonymous board. New club, new teams. What do you expect so soon? Some clubs also care less about winning than development. Trying players in different positions is not a bad thing, again, unless all you care about is winning.

I’m only impressed with a very few Inter that were not Weston players. They happen to be either kids of coaches or random reach wannabes people from the area. Remember, VP invited the players but they were picked by the sanedrin of expert coaches.
