Several coaches at Shoreline FC are leaving the club. All seem to be from Madison branch. Cannot see Shoreline FC maintaining a presence in that part of the state without current staff in place. Hope GPS did not drop big bucks thinking they were getting two branches in two geographic areas. It’s down to Greenwich only.

Shoreline is a disaster. It has tried to reinvent itself over the years. They had a partnership with CFC at one point too. Desperate to latch on to another some other legit program that may help them.

Things are getting messy. Ben is out as Director in Madison Branch. He will likely take a few teams with him as he starts his new club based in New Haven on the Woodbridge border. He will struggle to compete there, Ginga territory. Madison families will not be happy to travel to other side of New Haven during rush hour. He may convince one or two coaches to join him but you now have another club splitting up and forming two clubs. Shoreline, soon to be GPS, will continue to train out of North Branford but they will be lucky if they retain more than 3 teams. One or two coaches stay with them.

Didn’t anyone tell these guys about Vale vs Sporting? No one wins here. Both clubs come out of this weaker and CT soccer gets another Premier club. We need less clubs not more.

You only have 10-12 teams in this branch. If half follow the coaches that are leaving and half stay with the club what does that leave. 2 clubs with 5 or 6 teams each. You know people will leave as well, maybe 4 teams each. Did these guys think this through? Both will be gone within a year. Makes absolutely no sense at all. Just stupid decisions.
