For the younger ages- under U13 do they actually take a look at new kids during tryouts? Decided to switch my kids. I know getting into a practice is good but it’s late.

Well that’s the case in most places lol. Know kids will make a team but not interested in bottom so would actually like someone to take a look.

At U13 there still's a shot they would get a look; older teams not so much but that also varies depending on need. It's tough to stand out at most tryouts regardless of the club. Good luck.

Yep, most clubs will retain their current players unless there are a few standouts. Loyalty to some degree plays a part since the club knows families are used to how they operate. They won't trade avg for avg since they know current families are staying, where if you're trying out from another club who is to say you wouldn't leave in a year or so again.

IF club asks you if you've played premier before and club name, and you have multiple clubs listed, this is not always the best.

          Good luck!

Yet at fsa you have 2nd team lifers that are better than 1st teamers. Rarely any movement. Buyer beware. My kid flourishes now outside these suckw@ds

What league does FSA's State teams play in now? I'm just curious. We have been out of the club for awhile and I kind of lost track is it still the CCSL?

If you have been out of the club then why does it matter to you

Not saying it isn’t true, but unfortunately there is only one person making the decisions on who is and is not on a team/playing..etc.

This is any level/sport, years ago Landon Donovan didn’t make the WC squad, was there forever, probably would’ve been fine on the squad if was included, but Klinsman chose not to take him.

It’s a more if you’re mileage might vary, you don’t know until you go, grass isn’t always greener either if coming from a different club.

At least you had the foresight to leave and for the better in your situation.
