    Why does your kid play?

No club names or Initials please let's just leave this to just a civil conversation, but why does your kid play?

Do they play because you make them or they love the game?

Loser. If this thread bothers you, then leave. You don't have to be an azzwipe.

To answer the OP's question, my kids play because they enjoy it. And we're not deluded into thinking we're pursuing a scholarship. At times, they have been on the fence about playing, but always decide its something they want to do because it's more fun than not playing. I don't know if it makes sense to force a kid to do it...never seems to work out from what I've seen.

I would sure as hell not force them to play...much better things to do with my weekends.

My kid plays not because she wants to but because I want her to. She's getting a scholarship to a D1 school and she has to keep play to get the scholie. Also, her success has a direct influence on my ego.

Funny! You must be my dd’s team manager...except her kid barely squeezed into d3...so maybe not.
