a couple of celebrities bribing people to get their kid admitted to college will definitely make college coaches focus on only the team your kid plays for.
Save up the 50k to bribe a school to get your kid admission because unless the apple fell way far the hell away from the tree then your little retard doesn't stand a chance.
Well at least they are doing something about it now
The “ that’s just the way it’s always been” attitude is horrible , imagine if that’s what Lincoln and mlk thought back in the day
50 percent of the voters like not doing anything about anything -
immigration sucks but that’s just the way it’s always been
Healthcare sucks but always been the same
Soccer in Florida sucks but o well
Girls soccer is really bad but o well just the way it is
Well at least they are doing something about it now

This is just one way the rich and well connected get their kids into top schools. Yes it's important it be stopped. But schools won't stop taking big donations for scholarship endowments, nor will they turn down offers to build a new library wing in exchange for Johnny Average to get in. There's the 1%, then there's all the rest of us.
Hey, look outside — it is hazy .. and a bit cloudy. No doubt, an earthquake will be hitting us today..
...
What? Oh, yeah - my conclusion that an earthquake will result today because there are clouds is as illogical as your conclusion that college scholarship will be “hammered” because some people scammed the overall educational system and were caught.
Please in the future - when you post something about soccer, coaches, programs, etc., add a note that you are they same person who started this thread. That way, I know not to read it or to know from the beginning of my review of your note that chances are you can’t reason your way properly through a simple set of facts.

College athlete alumni also seem to have connections into getting their kids into college through athletic scholarships. The article example about the crew scholarship and the kid not even being in crew is one loophole. But honestly the pendulum has swung the other way for the low income or rural top academic student to get into Harvard before the smarter Asian. It is much rarer for the private high schools like IMG and the rich parents to be giving endowments for their kids to get into college.
Are you the UF dad who still can't get over his kid not getting in? That must have been the problem - you weren't rich enough.
Public universities like UF have to meet lower family income, first generation, and diversity quotas and show success with those types of students through support and graduation rates to be classified pre-eminent to get more state funding.

Yup. You're still blaming everyone else for your kid not getting in
