I have been paying for my kid to play in the non elite leagues and this weekend I had to drive all over FL. Not literally but 3 hrs one direction then 2.5 in the polar opposite direction to play games. The teams and level of play were bad too. Driving time, Gas, hotel , coaches fees and food. This is almost every weekend. I know that this is due to make up games etc. but don't tell me this is not expensive.

Sorry you had to go through this. Several teams in my area doing the same. Driving 3-4 hoyrs each way every weekend to play the #70 team in the state. Lol- and best 20 local teams participating in a local tournament!! If you are playing in NPL and SFUYSA, that is what you are going to get. On a brighter note, you didn't have to pay for a hotel, go to a team lunch or dinner, watch the coach get drunk way too many times, and got to sleep in your own bed.
