Watch several of the DA games at Waters this past weekend. Holly crap, CC YOU need to start recruiting GK's. Their GK's were well below DA standard. I've seen better GK's on travel teams.

The reason for my post is because they are recruiting sub par GK's unless their selection is based on politics. Like I said, it was sad to watch and say those were DA players. SMH!Comment

Not sure about all teams etc... but CC and TBU Ive personally seen pass on better keepers than they currently have. Could be politics, but have had one coach in passing conversation imply that the club just really doesn't care about GK that much and prefer to focus on field.Originally posted by Unregistered View PostComment

Problem with CC and TBU is the same as US mens soccer...they just do not look for talent outside the their own system thus the current players get comfortable and do not develop like other programs. When was the last time you have seen any turnover of more then 1 or 2 new players coming in. Thats right never and you wont. $$$ matters too much. And that is why few players form both programs get to next level. More of the same but it feels good and coaches and club make bank. I can't speak to this club but for serious GKs it's about the GK coaching. They spend a good deal of time with the GK trainers vs on the field. My son turned down a DA spot because he knew the GK trainer where he was was infinitely better. I'm glad he did because he landed a great college spot. The two GKs at the DA club did not. Haha yes it’s pathetic. I mean they just had NH who has been at the club since 8 sign professionally with PHL Union/Steel FC. Can you people read? The post was an example of two kids from just this year that have been developed by CC since that’s what the previous post was criticizing. I didn’t realize you needed a whole run down of things, but since reading is difficult I now understand. CC DA had 8 players called into National Team camps in 2018 alone, more than any other FL DA. NH and MJ signed pro with Union/Steel FC and Frankfurt. Ben Sweat made his full National Team debut and resigned with NYCFC. Zac Mcmath still in MLS, Andrew Samuels drafted by the Dynamo last month, Wes Sharpie and Bakie Goodman still playing pro in USL. So that’s 6 pros in the last 7 years, but please all holy knowing TS parents explain just how many professional players each DA is supposed to produce each year?
