    Time to boycot the NEP

Enough is enough, time to change the landscape of youth soccer in NE. Time to do away with the NEP and time to do away with SC, he has his favorites and the big clubs shouldn’t be able to dictate what the league does just to benefit them.

I’ve seen a few posts suggesting a promotion/relegation system. Could that really work? And be beneficial?

Good luck forming your make-believe league, Che Guerra!

GPS run the NEP, shape up or ship out!

Good luck with that. Come back and let us know how your organizing efforts go. Parents aren't going to drop out en masse to make a point. It's all bad and very frustrating, but largely out of our control. Pick your poison.

90% of parents wouldn’t have a clue what you mean by the NEP being “all bad and very frustrating”. Most families start out in a town rec league and then go on to town travel (BAYS/Maple) before going on to club (starting with NEP/NSL). IMO, each is a step up from the next and most kids don’t stay in any league long enough for parents to form a negative opinion. In fact, I view the leagues pretty positively for what they are.

Sorry but complaining about NEP like this is a waste of time. Any idea how hard and annoying it is to run a league like this; with all the clubs and their shenanigans? They are doing a fine job and I doubt many could do it better - you would just have different things to complain about.

Any reason why you want to do away with NEP? Very few know or care about the infighting. People just want to play soccer games and that is what they are getting.

SC facing a vote of no-confidence next week. The league is going to evolve, finally.

SC is just an employee. The rot is deeper than that.
