    Sunrise promotes bullying!

Sunrise Coach Morgan rosters a former CS United player who was kicked out of CS club. This player currently on their U16 B team is dangerous! It won't be long before a parent from another club goes after Sunrise for this girl's targeting. They won't have a leg to stand on as the club is actually filming the targeted hits by this unskilled player. Just this weekend a player from Coach Morgan's Black team boasted about her win against Wellington earning her a red card. Let's not forget about his other player who disrespects her opponents, team mates and referees on the field. Bullying is allowed as long as you pass the ball to the coaches daughter so she can take a shot at goal. Parents, if you want your daughter on a team who promotes unsportsmanlike conduct and you don't mind her being used to get the coaches daughter a D1 scholarship, then Sunrise is the team for you. Be prepared to empty out your wallets as you will also be paying for real training separately. You won't find what the rest of us want for our children: excellent training, positive reinforcement, respect, confidence, integrity and life lesson that hard work pays off. Get out while you can! Some have already begun to realize the direction this club is headed toward.

        Sounds like maybe it’s deserved.

This has been the Sunrise way for a very long time. We absolutely dreaded playing against them in State Cup for all the reasons listed above. So much for the "beautiful game" when you are playing against Sunrise. The only behavior that is worse than the players is the parents on the sidelines.

Forget about promoting bullying, they promote dirty aggressive play. Hated facing that club in tournaments because you knew they were going to rely on taking out your players rather than their own speed and skill. Odd thing was, they could probably have won a lot of those games without the loss of integrity and respect. I must not look like I should be able to speak or understand Spanish because their parents spoke freely around me. The glee they expressed seeing their kids set out to injure another child was nauseating. They encouraged it every bit as much as the coaching staff. Sick culture.

Agreed. My GK daughter attended an ID Camp with a Sunrise GK. The Sunrise girl was telling her that in a game tied 1-1 her coach told her to do "anything she could to take out their striker" that had been threatening all day to score again. She said she tried but couldn't make hard enough contact with the striker to take her out.

We have played against both teams, I can’t speak for what happened over the weekend , but I can say with 100% honesty that Wellington is the worst team we ever played.. both parents AND kids are off there rockers.. Wellington finally .got to play a team that wouldn’t be pushed around and they got there asses handed to them.. the coach on Wellington also promotes this rough play as you describe.. I have met this coach Morgan and have played them several times over the years (unfortunately ,never a win). But this poster sounds like a sore Wellington parent .. we all know they peruse this site nonstop .. I would have given your post a bit of credit until I saw that the game your complaining about was against Wellington. So carry on mom. It’s not the end of the world

We are tired of playing this type of soccer. Many of the parents will be taking our kids to another club next year. This type of soccer and Daddy coaching is out of hand.

You are looney and need to get back on the meds. You sound like a bitter hater. What was the score of the game?

"2time defending state champion" We are talking, State Cup!! Really?! State Cup. You are not even close to the champions of the state. You do not even play everyone in the state. But congrats on the tournament victory but please do not think you are the best in the state bc of State Cup.
