    Soccer team and alcohol use

    https://drugfree.org/parent-blog/5-t...ught-drinking/

So my kid and teammates drinking at their “team” sleepover this weekend. Be aware as it could be your kids doing this too.

What rock have you been living under? It happens at every school, some more than others. Conversations need to start in 6th grade and not just once in awhile. Use examples like that to have more discussions

Not under any rock jackass. Just an awareness piece as some have no clue and think their kid is golden. Team bonding, right. Now go back and finish your jack and coke.

The same calendar that Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh kept as a teenager?

Kids drink responsibly in every other part of the world starting at 10.

DUIs with young people are far worse and lethal (for them, those riding with them, and others innocently on the road) than the rest of the population. I guess you think that is a good thing unless your kid is involved in a fatal accident. The more alcohol the merrier for our youth! They have such great judgment.

Not the op but in most of the world alcohol isn't a taboo like it is here. Having wine or a beer with dinner is a perfectly normal part of life for teens. When you make it harder to get it only makes teens want it more.

Teens texting while driving have skyrocketed teen accident rates. How many adults do you see setting a piss poor example for teens?

Public transportation is better too. Kids don't drive nearly as much and don't need to.
