In an environment where the chasm between quality of play relative to leagues is growing, FYSA can not afford to continue to settle for the bottom. The fields for some of this weekend’s fspl games are not even rec. fields. They are worse than an average back yard. Pathetic.

The ball bounces 4-5 feet in the air on average passes. Injuries are likely because of the conditions. It is bad.

Excuses excuses. Find your game and the fields won’t mater. Those conditions make a player better.

And why can't people grasp that FYSA can only use the fields they are offered. If you want nicer field for events, then get clubs with superior fields to submit applications for field use.
FYSA cannot take over fields by imminent domain you know.

If you or your club wants to host games, contact Jill Hartley or Jonathan Spradley at the state office. These two want quality fields for all FYSA competitions. They made that point clear at the AGM. Be part of the solution my friends, not someone who cries in the wind.

The problem isn't FYSA, it's the ego-centric clubs squabbling amongst themselves that prevents progress.

Suggesting they have no responsibility around field quality is like saying Ford has no responsibilities around vehicle safety.
