Back line was lazy and careless against a very hungry offensive line eagerly waiting to capitalize on our errors.

Not a very impressive showing from this age group. Consistently outplayed at the mid field. positions and beaten to every ball. Yes, it's only one game but no one from the US team stood out at all.

I don’t want to sound like a soccer snob but I switched it off after 25 mins. I tried to watch the rest again today and couldn’t. We can’t keep the ball at any level!!

Bad loss. Probably will play Germany in first knockout game. They will be back on college campus early

Is it because we are identifying the wrong players? In our region it’s 90% of the players that play for an influential coach that are put in the pool and make the rosters. Too much politics?

So true and mix in the poor coaching and style of play and it should be obvious why a country of 320,000,000 people can't play soccer!

You can't possibly tell us you were impressed by this group can you? It does not take a genius to see the lack of creativity. Is this the best group we can come up with?

We need the unicorns hiding in the fields and cities of America.
                              Why no Hispanic players?

We need to let go of the possession dream and start playing direct ball to fast forwards. It’s who we are and what we do best.
Why do we reinvent the wheel? Too many foreign coaches whispering sweet nothings at club level? Will it jeopardize their jobs?
Our teams in both sexes have no identity
