The large roster is due to all the kids qualifying academically. 57% acceptance rate,1220 SAT, 25 ACT. Forest Gump could qualify academically.

Soccer wise, very weak.
Please, for the love of god, explain the draw to UNF? I for one, don't get it.

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostAcademically it is not very weak. It actually has a very nice academic reputation and it keeps improving. Don’t know much about the women’s soccer program, but it appears to be heading in the right direction. The head coach has a very nice resume’ based o where she was prior to UNF. She might not be there much longer.
Ok, I will bite, where is it documented that it has a very nice academic reputation?
It is not a preeminent university.
As a matter of fact, The University of North Florida, which did not qualify for state performance funding this year, ranked 11th on the list and will not receive money. Dead last in Florida, which is really saying something.

Their soccer program seems fine. They’re D1 and it’s an opportunity for for kids to keep playing.

Its bussiness school is ranked 249.
Women's soccer program is ranked 196.
6-year graduation rate 54%
SAT/ACT 25th-75th percentile 21-26
Freshmen in top 10 percent of high school class 14%
Freshmen in top 25 percent of high school class 40%
Fall acceptance rate 65%
There is nothing reputable about it.
