As put together as TBU is, they have let two age groups on the girls side to twist in the wind.

Because they wanted a taste of this kind of GDA success at WFF......

I fully understand your point, but the fact of the matter is that about 4 or 5 did actually leave TBUs 04 ECNL team to join WFF.

For the reason mentioned earlier in the thread.
Fairly straightforward reason.

Maybe because new better players came in. Maybe they got some DPs and knew more time was available at WFF.

Awesome for us if that’s the case, but where would they come from?

I heard Yo-Yo offered them to play at WFF "all expenses paid" so they will pay nothing to play at WFF. You get what you pay for. Good luck with that. Short sighted parents. WFF can dupe the parents of younger children. Any of the parents that have been around the sport for a few years know that there are drastic differences between the two clubs. Should have talked to some of the parents of older players (at both clubs).

If TBU truly recruited "better" players what's that say about their ability to develop? If they are having to go outside the club at that age with their numbers then they have significant internal issues they need to resolve.

Two seasons ago when the age group changed they had Keifer's kids before he moved to NC. Those were the best local collection of 04 girls. How does a club like TBU not make that work?
