Unhappy WPU falling apart

After doing some research, WPU is being managed by two DOCs, that being DC and HG. Both DOCs were hired by the club’s President BT. It would be good to find out if BT ever made a detailed review of his staff’s coaching history and/or resumes.

Mr. DC has been with the club several years, coaching teams in WP without any great success. He has good familiarity and experience with the game, that being in understanding the basics and foundation for players who are beginning to learn soccer. However, DC has never proven to have good results from coaching matches on the line. The results reflect on him as being sub-par in regards to tactics on field. To add on, there have been parent reviews of sub-par treatment towards the players and very bad communication with the parents. Are these not crucial elements that are lacking? Should a DOC be lacking this?

The other DOC is HG. After speaking with several amounts of people who know him, he seems to have been educated and has his coaching licenses up to date. But this does not mean that he is a good coach and further, does not mean he is a good person. HG consistently makes inappropriate comments towards the mothers of the players in the club. His communication with the players is more recreational than travel or of competitive soccer. It is possible that this happens because he does not have a real history as a player. After speaking with people who know him, they say he has never played at a high level. He simply played normal soccer, not high level as he advertises. HG’s priority is to make money in WP, coaching two teams, his DOC position and with this control, comes his motive to create private classes for himself, his brother-in-law and his nephew, keeping kids who come to the WP academy for themselves.

As we can see, BT says he studied at Harvard, but he had not been able to appoint DOCs who are ready to handle a club that is falling apart and needs repair. This is the issue at WP. None of these DOCs have been able to appoint coaches who retain players and are able to recruit players. Instead, coaches who win nothing nor retain players are tapped. It would be nice to know what happened with Coach Piccione or with Coach Gonzalez for example, who had success with third and fourth teams for several years, yet never moved up. Many parents said they were excellent coaches and are no longer on the list of coaches for the upcoming season. This needs to be addressed, but BT needs to change this DOCs and if not BT, parents must elect a proper board.

I don’t care if he cleans his ass with dollars bills. The only thing I expect from him is that he pulls out, those inept, abusive, liars, disrespectful. DOCs. They let go good coaches and hired the worst of the club.
They are truly rats.
