Did years of corrupt management lead to the Florida Fire being just a recreational program that travels? Of course if a person is related to a fundraising/coaching family or is the son as well as nephew of admistrator and coach they will have favors cashed in at the expense of much better players. At least that is what is said on the fields why so many older boys left. Did All the supposed nonsense with the Fire past management lead to the creation of the fantastic Stovie Stars and Bonita Storm becoming part of the Orlando City soccer family? Is the Fire finally out and it’s smoke can’t hide that it is pretending to be a competitive club that could play with Academy clubs?

Fire lost best coaches already. Some for the exact reasons mentioned in this thread. Shame for they have some new people who seem to want to sweep out the cronies and ones who feel entitled. -
Everyone was given an opportunity to succeed at Stovie Stars
Stovie Stars had more seniors going on to play College Soccer then Florida Fire had the last ten years maybe combined. Many of those boys left the Fire and it did them good to do as such.Originally posted by Unregistered View PostComment

The only reason why Fire lost the recent boys team is because they didn’t give in to having free players while others al have to pay. Bonita obviously gave in to everything. If you play for Azzuri, I’d ask around to why half that team is playing for free and getting special requests while you pay more than you did last year.

The Florida Fire lost two complete boys team due to the alleged favoritism and allegedly mismanagement of DM and RM. This was before the newest losses. In addition the Fire lost so many older players for the same reasons they couldn’t field older boy teams. The vast majority thought it was disgusting how players who couldn’t play at the same level of the majority of their teammates were given favors of good old boy soccer entitlement. You must be either new or blind to the faces that now are at other clubs. One even left for he was never paid nor his wife for coaching the summer with the SWF Griffins that became the Chicago Fire in Florida to the Florida Fire. The smoke from the Fie has been polluting the air for along time now. That is why Stovie Stars formed and Bonita got into Orlando City family. Florida Fire is an nonentity in the sphere of Competitive soccer in Florida. They play in what many consider to be recreational leagues and can not even qualify to play an Academy Club team at a major tournament. It seems as if they are a fraud for pretending anything else.Comment

What the M&M brothers did to that club may have prevented that club from being the main soccer club from Naples to Cape Coral. That can be viewed as an opinion but they were supposed to be a Florida Fire South and a Florida Fire North. Instead they drove entire teams to other clubs and turned off great players from soccer due to what many saw as favoritism of family members of coaches and administration over talented hard working players. Yes they still get younger players but unless they stop the viewed nonsense this players are going to do the same as those who came before them and either switch to other clubs like GPS or Bonita or be chased away from soccer.
