There is little debate . If you want to play at the highest level of boys youth soccer the DAP is the way to go and the place to be. However, for those wondering about ECNL then for the Massachusetts teams and leagues, there is little difference with the first NPL league...except that the ECNL teams would be at the bottom of the NPL division. The ECNL league is young and college recruitment has not really caught on to the league. There were more college coaches at the NEFC, both Memorial Day Tournaments’s, and any of the better regional tournaments.

What are you talking about? Virtually all of the Bolts boys ECNL teams and all of the Stars boys ECNL teams were knocked out of the State Cup in the first round. Lone exception was the Bolts U15 team, which were the state cup winners.Originally posted by Unregistered View PostComment

NPL U18/19 top two to three teams has very comparable teams to DA. Have seen both Revs/Bolts/Seacoast/Oakwood and many NPL team play at the older age group. DA is probably more talent skill wise, but a few NPL teams could beat them playing direct. ECNL teams could not compete with DA, sorry just a fact.Comment

No NPL not nearly on same level with DA, that's just either wishful thinking or you know nothing about the game. The top NPL are comparable with the *local* ECNL this year but that will change fast.
