Yankee Girls 05 - no more!

As Yankee continues its downhill slide, they could not roster enough players to form a 2005 team for next year.

Many of their U13 players who played up this year will have another shot at playing U13 soccer next year.

Hopefully an age appropriate team will help them be more competitive.

Don't even see Yankees logo on the New England Premier website anymore.

Who cares about Yankee? They are a club just hanging around. Not worth anything.

Did they get booted from NPL?

The question is did they. Original
Poster states their logo is no longer on the NEP NPL web site.

NPL is becoming nearly irrelevant. Seacoast likely dropping out for Gda. Quality way down because of the battle between ECNL and GDA. YU had already been on a long slide and only have one team worth talking about

None of these leagues will mean anything soon. Seacoast isn't a powerhouse in NPL but now going to be putting those teams in GDA. They'll get killed and driving to NH to play a team who can't compete is a waste of time. GDA is a joke.

Well, Seacoast mostly beat OW back in the day.

But NH is a beautiful part of New England, so there’s that.

                        It's Seacoast.

Seacoast has rock hard turf fields that should have been replaced 10 years ago.

There’s only four clubs in CT making noise (CFC ,FSA , Oak and Yankee ) and if Yankee is fourth on that list knowing they have no GDA or ECNL then they are doing just fine in the Nutmeg state.
