Although pricey, ECNL is a better model than Weston GDA.... but not at the Swap Shop..

Does this include travel related expenses as there will be hotels and possibly flights to Alabama for regular league games for SE conference? Does this also include travel related expenses for the showcase tournaments as for most of the girls will be playing in 3 out-of-town showcases which would likely mean minimum of two round trip plane tickets and multiple night stay at hotels as I would guess 1 of the showcases would be Orlando?

3k for 3 practices a week? Do the 3 high school months where there is limited to no training get pro rated?

GDA has training 4 days a week , 10 months a year for about 1900 Boca and 2400 Weston .

With nearly as much travel and expense, and now a much weakened product. Top clubs are leaving and players are wising up to the reality that USSF doesn't care about 99% of them.

This topic was briefly discussed in another thread. Prime only wants "elite" players. This will create about 4-5 teams with an average roster of 15-17. Where do you think the money for running this program will come from? The tuition fees have to be high.

This is youth soccer. What drives the market is what the players want, not what any club might want. Can they compete for players at that price?

Move on people , nothing to see here, elite soccer is expensive , if u are at the poverty line we may knock off a couple hundred bucks , please focus on trashing GDA !

There is enough wealth and fake ambition in south florida that it will work. In order to fill those rosters, the definition of "elite" will be modified as time progresses. An Amex card has an amazing ability to make a lot of players advance from potential to elite.

Yes but so what really. If being great at soccer was valuable, then the system would be different. The only value is being good at soccer AND having money to develop yourself.

We're in another state - our fees are more, plus travel. GDA not that much cheaper either. Youth soccer isn't for moderate to low income families.
