Someone commented elsewhere that CFC is desperate if they're running a men's pick-up league. At least that's soccer related. Cornhole is a new low. -
Not a CFC parent, but how on Earth is Men’s pickup soccer at a soccer facility desperate? Every facility does that and if they don’t they’re not smart. Cornhole is also popular and I’ve seen other facilities do tournaments as well. They’ve been doing it at the Arena in Hamden for years. Other indoor facilities do kids birthday parties, corporate team building activities, coed leagues, clinics for 3 year olds, etc. Are those all desperate as well or are they smart business decisions?Originally posted by Unregistered View PostComment

I love the idea of pickup games, wish there were more of them. I think cornhole is a little weird but I totally get using the facility to raise $ anyway you can.
