ECNL Welcomes Suncrest Premier as New Member Club in 2018
RICHMOND, VA (February 22, 2018) – The Elite Clubs National League is excited to announce that Suncrest Premier will be joining the ECNL beginning in the 2018-2019 ECNL Season. The ECNL will be the only national league in which the club will compete, and the focal point of its competitive efforts.
Suncrest Premier SC is based in one of Florida's most competitive soccer markets. Built on the proven development methodology of Pinecrest Premier SC and Sunrise SC, Suncrest Premier SC will quickly become a leader in South Florida. The clubs have had multiple teams qualify for the USYS Southern Regional Premier League this year. Many players from Suncrest Premier SC prove their quality.
“We are very excited to welcome Suncrest Premier SC into the ECNL,” said ECNL Commissioner Jen Winnagle. “Pinecrest Premier Sc and Sunrise SC have been two of the top development clubs in the country year after year, and we expect Suncrest Premier SC to quickly rise to also become one of the top programs in the Southeast Conference.”
“Sting Soccer has given our female student athletes the avenue to excel by creating programs and an atmosphere to develop leaders on and off the field,” said Sunrise SC Director Aguinaldo Ferreira. “Sunrise SC has experienced a tremendous amount of success in a short period of time and is evidence of the strong foundation on which it will continue to grow. Joining the ECNL will provide the platform to propel Suncrest Premier SC to take the field on the national stage.”
