Another national team call up for CFC

It’s been announced that Peyton McNamara from the CFC 02 ECNL team has been called up to the U16 national team.

That’s 3 National Team call up for CFC in a very short period of time. They must be doing something right.

Can’t wait for the haters to chime in now.

or maybe the players are just talented. No one has a formula. Never understand why people come on here to credit the Club. Marketing I guess.

Congrats to the player, but the work starts now - getting there is hard, staying is even harder.

It’s a silly argument really. Sure players are talented, but obviously clubs have something to do with developing that talent. Teaching them not just skill but an understanding of the game. That doesn’t just happen. At the same time, it also doesn’t just happen without a ton of hard work and extra work from the player. The reality is that both have a hand in it.

It would seem CFC has developed a very good reputation in the eyes of US Soccer. These call ups are coming from an ECNL program, not the Connecticut DA program (OW). FSA also left out in the cold. Someone at CFC is very well connected to get the buzz out on these players.

And someone must be well connected at Top Drawer. Are we really supposed to believe that this U16 team has 7 of the top 12 girls in the entire Northeast region playing on the same team?

Time for CFC to join the GDA.

That group will have no less than 12 D1 players.

Really? They are a talented group but that seems crazy.

After Michigan and Ohio St... The rest will look like FSA commitments. U Hart and CCSU.
                        Thats nothing to brag about.
