    CT Rush

It's been awhile since we have had a good conversation on Good Old Rush. I would like to hear the positive and negative. My take is that they are one of the best new clubs in the state. I think Sporting had that title but it's definitely a club in turmoil. Rush has grown pretty quickly and they have good talent on both boys and girls side. I think most of their talent is still centered in Fairfield County (Wilton). The weakest group is definitely their branch in Waterbury. The Guilford group is pretty good and look poised to take over that part of the state since SCP has completely imploded. Coaches are good. Negative with them has usually been centered on JSbut I have not seen or heard from him much.

No one cares. Let's leave rush out of it. Not a good idea to bring another mid tier team into discussion. Just stop

Not much to discuss here. Middle of the road Club who are small potatoes run by a guy who has pissed of more people in CT than Danel Malloy.

Most people are in a RUSH to leave that club

Wilton branch is the only one worth discussing, and even then they suffer from the same fate as many other clubs - they have some good teams/talent at the younger years but in middle school the better players go to higher level clubs. That's about all there is to discuss.

Where do they go? Some examples?

NPL, ECNL, DA. Even then it's only a few players. A perfectly fine club for younger years, coaching quality varies like many others. As the other poster said, not much to discuss other than the surprise is that JS hasn't bailed out as he has historically out of some of his other endeavors

It’s a development program. Kids all play other sports. By u15 teams are defunct.

Mid tier? That's a stretch. You don't know much about soccer, do you.

Their 06 girls team is playing at CFC arena this winter and they are a good team. Glad Renato entered them. Nice to play some competitive games and not have to drive

Yawn. If they work harder they might be almost as good as CFC Alliance 07s.

we play and have played many games against Rush girls. They are organized, have very good players and a few coaches that are quiet and do a good job. We are at Ginga and I would say I see a pretty good product on the field these last few years. Like us, not everyone has to be at the big three. It's still a fun sport for my daughter

U12 parents always think their kids are great and on track to soccer greatness. Then reality sinks in
