Tbu rowdies now the only pro affililate da in the state of florida. What a joke!

With oc farming out there da. We now only have one club affiliate with connection to a pro team. That is the tbu rowdies. Outside of img they have to be the worst run da in the state. With there 3 da doc's in 12 months. The scandle in texax. Etc., this sums up what's wrong with soccer in this country. Before da we were producing better players. Now with da we produce more $$$$$$$$$

TBU is not really a DA, is it? Senior DA's are only really what matters. By the way, that would make the Armada and the Clearwater Chargers, by your theory, the only ones. Armada is affiliated with, well, the Armada and the Chargers are affiliated with Orlando City/AS Roma. Orlando City is still funding the DA at Montverde and those players, going forward, will still be considered homegrown by Orlando City. No, TBU has not moved up the ranking, at all, by this announcement, they are still the red headed step child in FL.

Changing DOC's, scandal in TX, coaches breastfeeding babies, etc.... Unless I read your post wrong, I believe you meant to be talking about TBU, not OC.

I wouldn't say people are dumb. People are still unclear as to what all the details are. How can you blame people to think that after everything that has transpired over past two years. It has seemed that OC ownership has not cared at all about the DA program. They have let it all go to ****.

op here, you are clueless. Oc will no longer fund the da. They are transitioning out of youth soccer. Trust me as someone on the inside who has connections with the club. Also you weren't initelligent enough to get that this is a dig on tbu

This deal has been in the works for the past year. Phil Rawlins himself said that OC would have a residential program. Not sure if this is how he imagined it happening but it has happened. Those of us that are directly effected are not opposed to the change. I think we are a little shocked it happened in the middle of a season. but for those of us that are confident in our children's ability feel it is not a bad situation for the new Coaching staff to evaluate the players for the next 6 months. Roll with the punches.

Taking a shot at TBU is like kicking a dog after it got hit by a car.

Did U19 Chargers DA really lose to a lowly U19 FCF club team? I heard there is video of the Chargers taking their beat down on youtube. So much for DA having the "best" players.

I have a lot of respect for TBU just quietly building one of the best run youth soccer organizations in the Southeast U.S. Anything they set their sights on they improve drastically - leagues, coaching, facilities, leadership, etc. It is comical that TBU haters have to dredge up stuff like "breast feeding coaches" and "alleged scandals" to try to detract attention from a ton of positive developments at TBU.

As a parent who has tried several clubs I truly understand that some clubs are poorly managed and the player/parent experience is sub-par but TBU isn't one of them! And the Federation leadership is paying attention. I don't understand why frustrated people from other clubs would feel the need to try to spread negativity about TBU but rational people see it for what it is.

I think we can drop the "alleged" now and just call it a scandal. I do think that if you have coaches that breast feeding on the sidelines, that is a plus. No need to bring your water jugs, excuse the pun. As far as positive developments on the club, maybe with your facilities, but players are in last place in the DA, pretty regularly. Federation leadership is not paying attention anymore since they realize the Rowdies are not getting an MLS team. But look on the bright side, you have the ECNL to promote.

So you're saying that only 2 clubs in Country (in the 2 cities that are getting MLS expansion teams) are of interest to the Federation and will get full DA?

That's it? That's the expansion plan for DA - is - the identical expansion plan for MLS? That seems completely counter to what it is happening over in Orlando where they are breaking the DA off from the MLS organization. I think you are spreading a bunch of lies and misinformation here. But I get it, you're desperate.

That's really going to hold back the expansion of DA if the only way to get full DA is if the club is tied to an MLS team. The next 2 won't be added for a few years!
