My New Years resolution is to stop highlighting that the new ecnl club Fsa is just the old soccer plus club with more paying customers. That they still are junior to cfc with respect to performance, they still have worse placements and actually as of 2018, don’t even have the best indoor facility anymore.

    Happy new year

I’m sure the temperature is just toasty in that new CFC facility today. Did they even finish it on time? You got 8 more fields to go, an outdoor roofed cafeteria before you come close to FSA.

FSA has a long way to go when it comes to performance on the girls side. Much like BS, FSA doesn't give the girls teams their better coaches or even effort

It looks like there’s no track, work out area or food service nor ventilation at the facility either. Pretty cheap starting point for such a “high performance” club.

Don't forget c team money grabs, loudmouthed parents, crappy joysticking coaches and ridiculously over hyped teams who are kick and run, basement dwellers

Did FSA have all their ducks in a row when they first built? How's Beachside's project coming along? Been to OW indoor or outdoor lately? Falling apart. Man you guys will try and find anything thing to pick at. Having a big club like CFC build a facility is good for CT soccer. Others will need to up their game a bit

              not at CFC

FSA has upped their game and continues to reinvest and they have the best facilities by far in CT maybe even in all of Region I. I don't think anyone is questioning that.

FSA could possibly have the worst college placements in the entire ECNL. They play the worst teams at showcases because of their poor performances during the year. So they can’t even benefit from college coaches going to watch their opponents because they are just as bad.

That wasn't the point. Also, see post #9. Facilities don't get you results.

This is true. No BS. One of the few things that is not BS on this site. Who you play at ECNL showcases is usually based on how you finished in the standings the year prior. If you finished top 25 you will face top 25 teams. If you finish bottom 25 you face bottom 25 teams. Take a peak at the match ups for the girls down in FLA for next weekend. If you are that good of a player you will prob still be noticed but def a harder position being bottom 25.

Yale, Dartmouth, Columbia, West Point, you can put on the bottom 25 showcase all day long I'll take those placements any day at FSA.

Hey FSA dad CFC has more Ivy placements and soccer plays a much smaller role in admissions. Same with the militaries. But you knew that right?

Hey genius CFC Dad you know CFC has many branches with A,B,C teams per branch and has almost triple the number of players they can pick from to form one united team right? You should be embarrassed if they didn't have better placements.
