TBU coach has her new born baby on sideline

I was at my kids soccer game this weekend and a TBU coach had her new born baby on sideline. She even was breast feeding at one point. Is this right? What happens to me when my kid send a ball out of bounds and it hits/hurts the new born? Will I be on the hook for the doctor bills? Should ANY clubs allow this?

Yes let's make it even more difficult for women to have a career in coaching.

If your team won your post would sound more legitimate but since you lost it’s sounds more bitter.

No you will not. Now focus on playing soccer and leave the mom coach to mange her family.

You should be more worried that the club allows judgmental *****s on the sideline that still cannot handle the sight of a natural act like breast feeding.

Good for her. All kids, especially girls, should see that women can multitask effectively, have careers and kids, as well as the perfectly natural act of breastfeeding. Coaching is difficult on relationships and not necessarily conducive to raising a family. I know countless coaches that have left soccer for other careers that are more family friendly (more lucrative too). Family friendly support should be encouraged not discouraged

And they should be extra big. What's the problem?

US Youth Soccer Girls Recreation Coach of the Year did the same. Your questions are stupid.

Probably the ahole who thinks girls shouldn't ref boys matches. Mike "I won't have dinner with a female without my wife" Pence is his idol.

Safety of the child would be a major concern. The ball could kill a newborn if it struck them in the head. This is irresponsible parenting.

coming from a parent who spends their time on this site just says how little your opinion on good or bad parenting actually means. anything could kill a newborn, might as well put the kid in a secure bubble until 10 so he can't hit his/her head on anything.

Relax Lawsuit Larry. Club would have had to approve it most likely. If you don't know that mother's are fiercely protective of their children and wouldn't put their kids into harm's way then you haven't spent any time with any mothers (maybe not even your own)

Noting that the safety of the newborn was of utmost importance to you, tell us the next steps you took. Obviously, you went directly to the mom and expressed your opinion. You offered to watch the baby for her during the hour-long match. Did she say no? And after she said no, you definitely went to the field marshall, right? And then you went to the refs during halftime. I mean, this is such a serious issue for you, actions beyond bitching to yourself and posting on this half-azz website were taken, right?

Who else would know the best thing for their own child than a mom? Wait, a complete stranger with absolutely no knowledge of that child's needs knows so much more. Tell me your child's name. I'll be sure to watch your parenting skills and critique accordingly.

                              What a douche!
