(Affordable) futsal training in Concord area (U14G)?

    (Affordable) futsal training in Concord area (U14G)?

    Dear List,

    Any suggestions for winter futsal training in the Concord region (for a U14G)? Seacoast used to have sessions at the Y but not clear that it is happening this winter, at least for U14G. (Preference is training versus games- D already playing indoor.)

    ...and failing that, any folks interested in pickup futsal at the Y?

    I am not directly familiar with them via first-hand experience, but know of Samba Soccer PDA and some players playing futsal with them. They do offer a lot of clinics and I've seen them on the court. I know they have U14G programs. Not sure if you have to sign up for all, but worth contacting.

    Not for nothing, but if I had to chose indoor games vs. futsal...I'd take futsal. Understanding there may be teams/social aspects to consider, but from a pure development standpoint futsal is much better IMO.

        Us as well. No way I see my daughter going as far without it (and we are still on the ladder).

        That being said...take the practice time as it's worth more than the games if that's all you can do. But, I wouldn't sacrifice futsal for indoor soccer if I could help it.

          Futsal NH is supposedly doing something at the Health Club this year. They are the clear leaders of futsal around here but not typically in the concord area. You could reach out to them as I don't have any other information.

            That would be ideal. I know they are offering more training-specific programs, but didn't notice it was outside Derry.

            Definitely check them out. Huge props to that program on our end.

              Futsalnh isn't listing anything up here (only Hampshire Dome, Tyngsboro, Derry, and Nashua). Racquet Club/Health Club not listing anything...

                Contrary to what I thought, Seacoast IS having futsal training at the Y. U13/U14 girls 5-6 p.m for 12 weeks. I think tonight was the first one for this group. The info is on the Seacoast Express website.
