we watch the women because they don't besmirch America's name by being losers! Plus our real men play football, baseball, and basketball.

I will agree the U.S. men's side doesn't deserve to be in the World Cup but it's not because the U.S. values the women's side more. The U.S. has de-valued the women's side compared to the men's side for decades. The women's side has had success DESPITE the fact that the U.S. has not supported them anywhere near as much as the men. There is a huge pay disparity and the U.S. gave the men's side a DA league more than 12 years ago. The painful truth is that the men's side cannot get out of their own way despite strong support for decades.

Well said. And there is some truth to the cultural gender barriers being even tougher in other countries. Some cultures don't even let the women play. Latin American countries are beginning to pump more money into national women training programs.

Football (soccer) is the greatest sport in the world. Americans support both the men's and women's programs because we are not a third world nation. Women have opportunity in the US which allows them have a chance to get involved in activities where in most other players in the world they are very limited and sports are often not an option.

Central and South Americans are so far behind the times in many ways. I am very happy to have my family in America and love that my sons and daughter have a chance to do things that many kids don't from where we came.

Wow ... you mean the place where a women�s league that pays the equivalent of a filing clerk with a a HS degree if that.

A women�s league where the salary cap is what $300k while mls is what 3.8 mil not including designated players?

The one where a boys DA that�s been around for more than a decade without results and women�s in their first year of DA.

But yea they are really all in on girls. Nah the women just feel like they have more to prove than the entitled men�s side
