My kid tried out for the PDP in Walllingford. Best one on the field by far and still did not make it. I was told it was very political and since he does not play premier they won't accept him. JC is a fraud

It definitely is. Someone will post something here telling you differently but that is not the case. My kid tried out years ago for NY ODP and we had the same experience. She was excellent on the field week after week during tryouts but was not selected nor were her other teammates that were very good also. You know who was selected? The players who were currently being trained by those ODP trainers making the decisions...and the lower quality players from my kid's team to balance it out and make it look as if all was done fairly. Another year we went through a similar process with PDP. There was no response at all from the PDP trainers...they claimed they lost her information. :) She is fine now but learned early on that life is not fair...it is who you know...Originally posted by Unregistered View PostComment
