    Nutmeg State Games

On a surprising note, this turned out to be a very well run little tournament. The ULittles were very competitive, and while the older ages were a bit more smash'em up derby than purists would like, there was quality soccer up and down the age groupings. 7 out of 10 dentists would recommend.

Interesting that a 'premier' club in Foundation SC failed to finish in the medals at Girls U18. Oh, FSC parents, installment payment is due 9/1.

Some of those other teams had premier players. Take the Warriors - they had at least 4 ECNL players and several more NPL players on the roster. It wasn't like Foundation wasn't facing some good competition.

18s are just playing out the string- half the kids didn't make all the games on any team in that age bracket

The Warriors had FSA ECNL and NPL players? Because they didn't win either. A high school team played both teams and ended up taking the gold. I bet that news doesn't make the FSA website.

More proof that having a few ECNL or NPL players doesn't guarantee you anything. Everyone thinks a HS team that has some is going to win states. That isn't how it works and there are multiple HS teams with a lot of talent that are proof of that.

Does anyone else think it's funny that a roster for a low key summer event is being debated?

Nah. It has nothing to do with the rosters. It has to do with FSA and their claims of greatness. Another debunking post.
I completely agree with your statement about HS. Sometimes those club players hurt the team be trying to do it all themselves. It's all relative.

Who the F**k claimed FSA greatness in these posts? You must be sitting in the drive through taking orders. No wonder why you are so bitter! Hahaha

You're nuts if you'd rather NOT have club kids on your HS team. That's just idiotic to say!
The game was one sided if you watched... the better team didn't win. Stack a box and win a free kick.. Woo Hoo, that's great soccer.

Not the op - of course you want club players, but there's varying degrees of quality when you say someone is a "club" player. And even having an ECNL badge on your sleeve doesn't mean you're a high quality player, or will be an impact player on your HS team. As another said there's lots of HS teams with a great deal of club talent but the coach can't do shi*te with it
