Suppose you were a coach, and your teams won more than 80% of their games consistently for a few years...with the same group of kids. Is that considered a "good" coach? Is there any way that you were considered a "bad coach" with a winning track record?

Are they great coaches or were they lucky because they had the greatest players.
The answer: A little of both.

No, you don't luck into 11 titles BUT I don't care how great a coach you are, if you don't have the players you're just not going to win (consistently anyway).
So as I previously stated - its a little of both, skill & luck. Keep in mind though that one definition of luck is: 'When preparedness meets opportunity'.
Take that for what its worth.
