Stick to playing Ginga, South Central and Shelton Premier. It's easier to brag to your friends!

Now comes the point of the spring where the parents are burnt. Pounding miles on their cars driving to games, watching games in the cold and pouring rain. Probably not much energy to work the spin machine on a Sunday night. Just my opinion.

I love the bickering about who's better- CFC or FSA. They both suck and are at the bottom of the NE standings.

When will you ever get the point that no one gives a **** about the team. Colleges recruit players. So if CFC and FSA are mid or lower table ECNL teams it doesn't really matter. Look at the college placement lists. The kids who can and want to play college ball get placed. How the team as a whole does doesn't really matter. ECNL is about getting individual kids in front of coaches who can watch them It has nothing to do with who wins the division. The importance of that went out at U14. Get a clue.

If everyone gets placed in quality programs, then the team should be good, no? Or is the sum lesser than the parts? Little Mia was going to Yale whether she played soccer or not.

If FSA was located in Fairfield County, and CFC was up in Farmville USA, FSA would be crowing about its college placements and CFC would be screaming "results."

Put down the ECNL Koolaid. Shouldn't the goal be to become a better player, which can then lead to playing in college? Call me crazy but that's why my D plays.
