I've been taking the talk of the demise of cjsa with a grain of salt, but today I looked at the brackets for the CT and State cups. It's bad. REALLY bad. Lots of byes, absence of a lot of the traditional CJSA premier teams - very very anemic brackets. If the Cup is one of the pegs that CJSA is hanging their hat on, then they are in big big trouble.

Too funny. Just looked at some of the girls state cup brackets and it actually appears like they tried to ensure that winners and placers from last year eliminate each other in first round. Why would they do that?

And you have all been predicting the demise of the CJSA for years here. They are still there, doing their thing. They will be here for years going forward. Long after the regional clubs that are on top of the pyramid disappear.
Come back in 10-15 years and see for yourself.
