I understand that their are those who don't like Florida Celtic FC and enjoy posting humorous videos but there is another side to the story .
Celtic is a local club . It only has one team in the FSPL the rest play in the CDL and USA leagues . We don't have DA ECNL or NPL because we don't have enough players or parents who have that level of commitment . But for your average player we do a pretty good job and given our numbers it would seem we are providing a good product . Right now we have close to 400 club players . For senior season we have teams both boys and girls in every age bracket with extra teams in girls 02 and 00 .
Pinellas County has decided to invest 250,000 from the BP oil settlement in our facility and the results can be clearly seen with the condition of our fields .
We are not TBU WFF or even Clearwater Chargers but from this website it's pretty obvious to see not everyone is happy playing at the big clubs .
We are probably only few years away from the extinction of the local soccer club . For one I don't think that will improve youth soccer in anyway .Comment
