ODP is still going strong. Practices this week in Simsbury. Lotsa kids. I must note that it would be nice if someone over there Googled, "what time is Sunset in Simsbury, CT," oh and if they didn't just wallop the ball like U12 FSA kids. That's all.

If you think your kid is top 50 player at their age in CT, you get them to OW, FSA ECNL or CFCU. Everything else is irrelevant especially at u15 and up.

Sure they could - vs CJSA teams! Most truly good players are in DA already or will be soon enough. DA players aren't allowed to do ODP or other ID programs. On the girls side they still keep ODP decent until U14 when ECNL teams form and most will drop out of ODP. Probably a parent of a U12 whose kid is in ODP. She probably plays at a low level club, or maybe is a bench warmer on a decent NPL team. Deep down he knows his kid would never make an ECNL team, so disparaging ECNL kids makes him feel better.Originally posted by Unregistered View PostComment
