TBU does not see girls as equals

It is confusing TBU is all in on the DA and all its benefits when it comes to the boys, but on the girl's side they feel the DA is no good. So it is OK for boys to give up school sports, but not OK for girls. OK for boys to play with limited substitution but not the girls. Combined age groups are fine for boys, but not for girls. For boys it is Ok for training and structure to come from US soccer Fed, but for girls better for the club to do this. Boys it is Ok for there to be set number of starts for a player, girls this is not good. Guest playing within the club is OK for girls but not boys.

Not saying which is better, it appears TBU is not sure, unless they truly believe all the reasons why a boy should play DA, the opposite is true for the girls.

Well, I'm not sure about any of that. What I will say is that when I watch the girls and boys play at TBU - I don't see any difference at all.

It is about money nothing more. Same for boys and girls.

Does FIFA or USSF see girls as equals? There's the answer to your query.

Really TBU won't be different than many other DA clubs or GDA in general. There is no pro path and only a handful of girls would even be interested. The focus will be getting onto good college rosters. There's (virtually) no pro club support. It's still quite expensive. Girls are more likely to want to play HS. Girls have options, boys don't. It all adds up to GDA and clubs having to make adjustments in order to try and make it work

You must be a boy with a boy soccer player....I'm a man with both a boy and a girl soccer player!

Boys and girls are different...but can use the same bathroom (Just Kidding).

Girls are more social and need acceptance by their HS peers, that why they want to play HS, boys not so much, boys don't really care about that kind of stuff

That is the thing, all the reasons TBU tells a girl not to play DA they say the opposite to the boys. If they were honest and not about filling rosters they would be consistent.

All this sftuff about girls being different than boys when it comes to what they want from soccer is BS. If it wasn't than why are all the top clubs switching to DA on the girls side? Those girls seem to have no trouble giving up HS if they were even playing it to begin with. They may not want to give up HS, but they will just like the boys if they feel it will better help them reach their soccer goals.

The chances for the boys in the DA to play pro, or make a national team are very slim. However that doesn't mean they don't want to give it a shot. Why should girls not try for the same thing?

TBU couldn't get girls DA this year, that's why they don't have it. DA will be good for players who want what DA offers. If all the best girls end up wanting that, then that will be the league to compete in for those who want to play with the best. That still remains to be seen but judging by what the better clubs in the southeast are doing right now, early indicators are that DA will be the top league in the Southeast.

That is not to say that DA clubs will offer the best coaching and opportunity for this coming season. And if DA turns out to be the place to be, TBU, if it is well managed, will have it. I wouldn't sweat it for this year. Find a good coach and be prepared for down the road a bit when being in DA really matters.

These clubs don't care about your kid. Its all about the money. TBU is all about the money. WFF does the same thing. WFF says DA is where the best girl's should be playing, but boys don't leave and play DA. Just find the best coach and best fit for your kid. No matter what club it is. Club loyalty is a waste of time.

Whatever dude, girls are different from boys.

Girls often play to socialize, whereas boys play to play. High school soccer is a big, big deal for the social set.
