On one hand you kill the USWNT for dropping one of two vs Germany and England ..... two top five teams in the world but in the other hand you gloat for wins over honduras, el salvador, and Mexico but overlook Panama? it's not during a FIFA approved lull so clubs don't need to release players for youth competitions. That guy, Christian Pulisic, is on the full US national team and playing on Dortmund in the Bundesliga
As it relates to full USMNT give it some time. In a few cycles you will see several of these players joining Pulisic on the USMNT. Several of these players are already playing at great professional clubs (Porto, Fulham, Arsenal, etc). Some are in colleges. I believe most came up through the DAComment

A club team will hardly ever release a player to represent their country for anything other than a FULL team obligation. Heck, they sometimes don't even release them for full team games. The US Men played a few weeks back with all MLS players.Comment
