    ECNL Pipeline

Folks asked about ECNL pipeline. Below are clubs with the most top 5 ranked teams in the pre-ecnl years (u11 to u13) according to US Youth Soccer Rankings (http://youthsoccerrankings.us), which is pretty similar to Last Planet:

3 - NEU (ECNL), THUSC (ECNL)
    2 - FC (ECNL), WS-TS
1 - Crossfire (ECNL), EST, Southside (ECNL), Willamette (ECNL), WA_Timbers (05s are top 5 team, but listed in Washington)

Of the top 4 feeder clubs in the state - FC, NEU, THUSC, and WS-TS - 3 are ECNL clubs.

Even if the ECNL clubs attracted no talent from outside their own feeder teams, they would have the best pipelines in the state; historically they have also recruited well.

Folks don't ask about that. What you said you must have just made up in your head because it's pretty clear that at the u14 u15 and u16 levels NOONE is coming to the scam anymore.

Too many people like their untrustworthy coaches and minion parents who are gullible and worried. They need your kid more then your kid needs them.

This isn't too hard to figure out.

Why can't they get good recruits?

ECNL teams are by far the best in the state at all HS ages. Sorry your DD got cut, again.

ECNL clubs get the best in the state. You might not think they're "good" but they're still the best in the state. Sorry your DD got cut, again.

              Too reliant on recruiting. Sad!

No one is getting cut from Ecnl clubs. They take anyone. The talent is mediocre and most of the best players aren't even going to Ecnl clubs anymore. In Oregon it's close to a scam and people are figuring that out.

Sorry you got fooled and now are trying like crazy to sell lies.

why else do you think the lying coaches and toxic parents try to hard during the year to try and get good players to join them. It isn't because those kids got cut, it's because they are wasting their money and time for development on the word of not so trustworthy coaches and worried parents.

Fake news - no way girls develop in 2017 without the leadership of the timbers. Don't those neu and thuscc girls do odd?

I thought this was impossible - all these good teams developing without the benefits of Timbers coaching or licensing.

How is that possible? Isn't there an OYSA rule against this?

Reread your post. It makes absolutely no sense... so the lying ecnl parents and coaches try hard to recruit because they are wasting their time and money for development on the word of coaches and worried parents. Idk. You lost me. I think you are saying that ecnl parents and coaches are recruiting because someone is wasting their money and time on development. I don't understand what you are saying.

Well fact is, no one needs your kid so don't know why anyone would be recruiting them. And maybe you shouldn't worry so much about what others are spending and maybe you are misinterpreting what is going on since you clearly have issues with communication.

The only people who would be worried about recruiting are insecure parents or coaches. Who the heck cares if a club tries to recruit a player? Seriously. Someone or some people are seriously worried about losing...someone or some people, and are so worried and insecure about it that they post about it on a soccer board. Crazy. Is that in hopes those being recruited see their opinion before they make the choice to switch?

The teams from Oregon in ECNL league don't do a great job of developing players.

Look at the 04 age group. FC Portland and Crossfire, the two ECNL clubs, have had those groups of girls for years and they are barely competing in the second tier Premiere group. Nice development work there. FC knows it's done a crap job with those girls so it will have to recruit 10+ Top players that have been developed in other clubs to have any shot of competing in ECNL. Same goes for Crossfire.. but they will pull all of their players from SSC and Thusc who do a decent job of development. Those sixth graders are already drinking the ECNL Kool-aid. They will flock to FC and CU for the same coaching that has been turning over mediocre players for years.
