    Ecnl ship is sinking

    Look at the u14/15 ages.

Speaks voulumes on the fact that the development there is terrible and they are forced to sell scams to recruit.

Crossfire Oregon u15 pay 1k a trip to lose 8-1 or beat a 2-8 terrible team.

Looks like the dilution of Ecnl combined with the sub par programs here in Oregon shows how bad this is happening.

Also it speaks to the fact that at the u14/15 level the Oregon Ecnl teams are 3rd 4th best.

Imagine being sold on the idea you are elite but then realize your team needs other players to even be competitive. Paying 1k to fly a play a team that wouldn't even be top 5 in Oregon or top 20 in Washington.

OYSA paid board monitors hard at work on a Saturday. Trying to distract us from the fact that your attempts at a monopoly are destroying youth soccer in Oregon won't work. Good effort though.

So are you trying to blame the OYSA for the horrible standard of Crossfire Utd & FC Portland u14 to u19 girls teams currently? Looks like you did the destruction all on your own when you joined this league without the requisite talent in personnel and coaching . Jus sayin.

Really? Yet another thread on this well worn topic? Ford v. Chevy, vanilla v. Chocolate, spicy v. Mild. We get it already. Look back on the archived threads. Plenty of opinions on both sides. You offer nothing new. Yaaawn.

What you call "sub par" are still clearly 10x better than anything any other Oregon club has to offer. Just how bad are those Timbers teams?

Does anyone know if the 2 ECNL teams will stay in ECNL next year, orif they are leaving ECNL for GDA?
