What makes you think Crossfire Oregon is dead? I have seen reference to an announcement coming of some kind from WUSC. -

LOSC and WUSC founded and operating as ostensibly recreational club (based on membership numbers) will have a small percentage of their boys membership play classic soccer- that's what Crossfire Oregon is and represents. No big deal, the coaching staff is primarily made up of WUSC coaches and they have teams at different classic and premier levels in the OYSA league structure. It makes sense at the HS ages to combine boys from different clubs so they don't have to rely on the small pool of players from just the local HS in Lake Oswego, West Linn & Wilsonville.
In order to field teams at each age group from u15 to u19 the cities they represent couldn't do it by themselves, (historically speaking) so they combine efforts to have a full plate of teams.
It's local stuff-for local kids coached by local coaches.Comment

And the name Crossfire? How local is that? You know you do a terrible job as a club if you fail at fielding teams at U15 and above. Clubs fail because they do not have a long term plan mentality.
