With the announcement of new MLS teams in Florida that will partner with Girls DA there really is not much shelf life for ECNL as the pipeline to College and national teams. ECNL money machine is focused on numbers now. Not top tier soccer.

As much as USSF wants ECNL to go away, it isn't. It will remain a strong B league for players who don't aspire to top D1 programs or NT, or simply don't want to give up HS. There's plenty of girls out there who fit that description, and there's plenty of college programs that aren't top D1 but need players

Really??? Sunrise, TBU, FKK, and others have been putting girls in D1 for years without either of the "top tiered" leagues. Kool-Aid on sale isle 5.

GDA is going to flop. You heard it here first. Clubs are already pulling out. GDA does not fit into their "for profit" business model. Find a a coach that cares is your best bet for your daughter to reach her aspirations, whatever they may be.

College players best focus on how best to get to grad school, not what division their college team plays in. Are you paying attention? We are in an every one for themselves world and it is getting worse.
These girls need to learn how to compete in a career market not on a college soccer field. - that is just for some stress relief and exercise.

One of USSF's biggest problems is their denial on the appeal of high school soccer. Elite players will stay away from GDA in droves.
