You get the email and your very first thought is "geez I should cut and paste this to Talking Soccer"? Wow. Whenever I feel bad for taking a peek at this God forsaken sight I see the actions of people like you and don't feel as bad.

Just making sure the Timbers lemmings and sheeples out there see further proof that their "clubs" are falling farther and farther behind. You can thank me for saving you from yourself.

But it's the same old same old. DOC coaching staff that cannot be there 7 months of the year. It's all a façade when they hire these university coaching staff. How can a DOC implement their ideas and get respect from other coaches when they are never there? But, parents at FC can say Wahoooo, we've got the PSU head coach in our club.

        IT MEANS NOTHING!!!!!!

Get ready for a hike in fees!!!

You are absolutely correct. She cannot possibly run a structured program if she will not be there for 2/3 of the year. Why would the club go down that same path?
          That's a strange decision.

Just like the clown they hired at WT-FC, then handed him the CC job plus the radio gig. Never there. Every club, same chit. Just looking for bigger headlines to bring in more money. Youth sports are in big trouble in this country.

There are lots of high level managers whom run Fortune 500 companies very effectively and very rarely step out on the manufacturing floor. It’s all about strong leadership at the top, a direct and concise flow of ideas and information and a program in place for implementation and execution of ideas. Pretty simple really. Good hire.

Nope. Looks like it would be about 15 minutes per day, tops.

You are comparing FC to Apple?
                            You are stupid!!

When you are a leader of a soccer club you need to be seen and heard not hide in the background. It is a hire to basically fool the stupid parent (and it works) PSU have been terrible for years and had lots of players leave the program because of the coach. Why does that consistently happen at PSU? I'm afraid FC did not do their homework. That's typical of FC. They have proved that in the past with the convicts that they have hired. They are on a slippery slope to nothing.

What role does your club's DoC have? What makes a good DoC?
