A national training for the 03/04 group is scheduled in PDX for 11/14. The training center website says the players are identified by their scouting network. Does anyone know how the scouting network works? Is it made up of certain coaches or clubs? Does it include RTC/ODP coaches?

The former UP coach comes to some DA games to scout. I don't know of any others. Last time it was at the Timbers facility with the Timbers DA coach. They keep inviting in the ADF kids to recruit them to the Timbers DA next year.Originally posted by Unregistered View PostComment

this is correct. all coaches of club teams have the chance to nominate whoever they want. these nominations must be for players who have a chance of playing on the national team (not the state team or the regional team). then USSF scouts watch those nominated and invite players who they agree pass muster.Originally posted by Unregistered View PostComment
