    Plantation Soccer Director Arrested

    Disturbing news out of Plantation, as JR has been charged with battery on a minor over the age of 12. If true and convicted this is troubling and a huge black eye for Plantation.

        He also worked at Kendall and it's a shame people don't realize how much of a low leveled club Kendall is.

            Who cares? More importantly he's a predator and if you have a child that was ever around him, sit down with them and talk to make sure they were not a victim!

              His bios (no wiped from Plantation's and Kendall's websites) claimed he is involved with both US Soccer and ODP.

                When he got fired at AHP in 2008, he got in a fight with the girls coach, because the girls coach confronted Ramos about dating underage girls. Ramos should have been out in jail in 2008.

                    That's the general issue with background checks - if the person has no record how can you know? Even doing reference calls gets problematic because many employers will only confirm dates or employment and salary - they're too worried about lawsuits to say anything else.

                    Guilty or not (remember TS is not judge in jury even though plenty of posters may think so) his reputation will be forever tarnished even if the charges go away or it goes to court and he's found not guility. Of course any club will distance itself as quickly as possible and he's going to have a tough time ever getting a job again. Only way is if it comes out the accuser made it up. Otherwise there will always be that question of "what if..." No club will take that chance

                          You're talking about what it means in terms of soccer?????? OMG. Who the hell cares. This individual needs to be off the streets. F..K soccer. No club will take the chance??? Like his career matters???

                            What does this have to do with plantation or Kendall management. Unless you are claiming that they knew. They should have not had him around by magically knowing what he was doing, which no one else also knew.

                              That wasn't just a rumor. Heritage had him resign, they didn't need the negative publicity. He went quietly and parents decided against pressing charges. The guy is scum.
